Generally Quicklime is available in Powder and Lump form, ranging between 80 – 85% and 85 – 90%. This is a Technical Grade Calcium Oxide.

Ø GENERAL INFORMATION:
This is a synthetic flocculating / settling agent, polymers of acrylate monomer. This is non-corrosive and hence process equipment are not affected by the use of such flocculent. These flocculants are very quick in separation of solids and liquids in any type of medium, either acidic, basic or neutral, hence they are more effective and efficient than traditional inorganic flocculants, such as, Alum, Ferric Salt, Neutral Gums, Algins, Proteins or Starches. At times, with conjunction of inorganic flocculates, economic gains can be achieved via selective and efficient use of polymeric flocculants. These flocculants act better if they are tailor–made to suit any type of solid–liquid separation problem. Ø PROPERTIES:
Jelly like substance with varying viscocities, depending on molecular weight and chain – length, decomposes at temperature between 175° to 300°. All grades are water-soluble.

Calcium Hydroxide is mainly used to control pH and reduce alkalinity in water treatment. Most often hydrated or slaked, high Calcium lime is used.
Low calcium lime such as, Dolomite lime is also used for water treatment where alkalinity is very low and where it produces a heavier, betters – settling floc than slaked lime. However, low Calcium lime such as dolomite lime is not recommended to use since it requires large quantity for neutralization, forming large sludge because of higher Magnesium Oxides, which is inert to reaction. On account of hazardous nature of Quick lime, it should not be used, because it causes body burns. It also tends to cake in the chemical feeder. Hence, material with higher assay, low Magnesium, low sulphate and low silica is recommended.

Soap Stone Powder commonly called as Talc Powder. Basically as only a few critical parameters, such as: v Mesh Size v Whiteness v Brightness v Calcium Content
These are the basic critical parameters on which the above product largely depends for all end uses.
Talc is also known as French chalk, Soap Stone or Potstone. It has a sandwiched structure with Mg2+ ions occupying all the hexahedral spaces between the two Si4O10 hexagonally latticed layers. It has a monoclinic crystal structure & occurs in foliated, scaly, often compact masses having white to pale green colour with yellowish or brownish tints. Talc has very low hardness of one moths scale with pearly luster and greasy feel. It is chemically inert and a very poor conductor of heat and electricity. Talc mostly occurs as a product of hydrothermal alteration of magnesia-rich ultra-basic rocks.
Application / Uses Talc is an important mineral, having wide usages, depending on its properties. Silicon Oil is a water clear silicon fluid available in viscosity ranking from 01 centistokes to 1,00,000 centistokes.
